AgileIndy 2020 Conference CANCELLED

  • Last week, the AgileIndy board of Directors informed you of our plans to postpone the conference while we worked with our venue to determine our options moving forward. Today, we would like to update you on our final decision:

     

    In light of the recent events surrounding COVID-19, the AgileIndy 2020 Conference, scheduled for May 1, 2020 in Indianapolis has been CANCELLED.  This was a difficult decision, but we are satisfied that it is the best decision for our member community, our speakers, and our sponsors at this time.

    What’s Next?

    We are working with our speakers and plan to deliver more monthly meeting learning opportunities in a VIRTUAL format going forward.  

    • If you haven’t signed up for Ryan Ripley and Todd Miller’s Virtual Meeting on April 8th, please visit www.agileindy.org and register now!  This is an exciting opportunity to learn more about their book “Fixing Your Scrum:  Practical Solutions to Common Scrum Problems” and how to apply some of these solutions to problems you may have on your teams today.   While you are there, share the event on social media and with your out of town friends so that they can register too, and be sure to subscribe to our NEW WEBSITE at https://agileindy.org/Membership to hear more about our future virtual event opportunities!

What About Refunds?

As discussed in our previous email, we will be working to refund both sponsors and attendees for any fees paid to AgileIndy 2020.  

For attendees, this will include BOTH the ticket price and the EventBrite fee, in accordance with EventBrite’s Event Cancellation Refund Policy.  Please be patient with us as we figure out this new process in the upcoming weeks.  We will send another email to all attendees who have purchased tickets once the refunds have been completed.  At that point, if you have not received your refund, you may contact us at tix@agileindy.org to troubleshoot any issues.

For Sponsors, you should have already received an email from sponsors@agileindy.org with more information on the sponsor refund process.
